Sheep Beeding

Demonstrational ranch activity.

One of the demonstrational activities of the Ranch is sheep breeding. We have been selecting the bread for decades, making our heard well adapted to the Istrian climate and conditions. The sheep graze on fenced pastures during winter. During the dry season, they get additional hay and additional barley during lambing. During spring, summer, and autumn the sheep spend their time exclusively on pastures.
